How can I order a Bag-IT?
- Go to the Bag-IT link and add it to your cart.
- Fill in your personal information on the checkout page.
- Complete the purchase.
- You will receive your Bag-IT package in 3-5 working days.
Is there a limit on the number of bags I can order?
Yes, there is a limit of 2 bags per order. This helps us manage resources and ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy TakeBag.

What types of e-waste can I recycle with TakeBag?
We accept a wide range of electronic items for recycling, except items with bloated batteries.* As long as your items fits within Pick!’s dimension of
- XS (17cm(L) * 46cm(W) * 12cm(H))
- Small (41cm(L) * 46cm(W) * 12cm(H))
- Small Vertical (17cm(L) * 46cm(W) * 26cm(H))

Parcels or articles consisting of or containing any explosives, poisons, flammable items, radioactive material, compressed gas, corrosive, firearms, infectious and non-infectious perishable substances, noxious or deleterious substance, indecent or obscene articles, and/or any item which by its nature or packing may expose any person to injury or cause damage to other Parcels and/or any of the Locker Compartments.
What happen to Be The Light program, how can I donate?
Starting from September 2024, we will discontinue the Be The Light program. Consequently, all laptops processed through the TakeBag will undergo a screening process. The donation program requires laptops to meet certain specifications. We will assess each laptop's condition and suitability. If a laptop meets the criteria, it will be selected, packed, and prepared for donation.
I’ve ordered a Bag-IT but it went missing, what should I do?

Can I use TakeBag for commercial purposes?
The TakeBag program is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of residents only. Hence, it is not be suitable for business purposes, as companies often have different requirements. For business inquiries, please contact us at ask@kgs.com.sg
Is there a lead time for dropping off my Bag-IT at the Pick! locker?
Yes, there is a specific time frame for dropping off your Bag-IT at the Pick! locker. Please ensure you drop off your Bag-IT within 7 days from receiving SMS or email confirmation.
What becomes of the used Bag-IT once they reach the warehouse?
All used Bag-IT received at our warehouse will undergo a professional recycling process.
Are there any other options to dispose my electronics?
Here are a few other options to consider:
- If your item is within the dimension of 50cm by 20cm, do consider dropping them off at any of our following e-waste bins here.
- For bulky e-waste, you may send an enquiry to ask@kgs.com.sg to opt for either:
- Dropping it off at 8 Tuas South Lane, #01-71, Factory 4, Singapore 637302 (By appointment only)
- A paid door step collection service by sending an email to ask@kgs.com.sg
How long does it take for the item to arrive at KGS's warehouse?
It typically takes about 1 business week for your Bag-IT to arrive at KGS's warehouse after it has been shipped.
What happens to the electronics once they arrive at the KGS warehouse?
We will securely destroy data when necessary. For disposal:
- Screen and evaluate electronics from the TakeBag program for repair and reuse.
- Segregate materials like metal and plastic for recycling.
How will my data media be destructed?
There are three methods of data destruction:
Degaussing: Hard disks will be destroyed by changing the electromagnetic field. Our degausser delivers a powerful magnetic pulse, instantly destroying all magnetic domains and fully erasing the data based on NSA standards.
Shredding/Crushing: Items (e.g. SSDs, Tablets & Phones) will be feed into a shredder machine that will result into small shavings.
I accidentally put the wrong electronic devices in the polymailer. Could you please return them?
There is a retrieval fee of $45/- due to manpower and administrative costs. Retrieval must occur within 2 working days from when it reaches our recycling facility.
Please provide your name, phone number, and barcode number. Note that items must be self-collected from 8 Tuas South Lane, #01-71, Factory 4, Singapore 637302.

Parcel Locker / Others
Once you’ve submitted the form to book a Pick! locker slot, here’s what happens next:
- Confirmation: You’ll receive a confirmation message via SMS or email, notifying you that a Pick! locker return parcel slot has been reserved for you.
- Drop-Off: After receiving the confirmation, head to the nearest Pick! locker within the next 7 days and drop off your e-waste-filled Bag-IT.
- Processing: The e-waste will be collected and processed according to the recycling procedures.

i've made my order, what happens next?
1. Order on the Way
You will receive a shipping notification once your order is dispatched. Additionally, look out a reservation confirmation SMS or email for your Pick! locker return parcel slot.
Note: There is a specific time window during which your locker slot will be reserved for your use.
2. Bag Received
Once you’ve received your Bag-IT, fill it with your e-waste. Then, head to the nearest Pick! locker within the next 7 days to drop off your e-waste-filled Bag-IT.
3. Processing
The e-waste will be collected and processed according to our recycling procedures.

Where is the nearest Pick! locker?
Check out the nearest Pick! Locker and use the search feature to enter your location or allow the app to access it automatically. Browse the map or list of nearby lockers to find one that is most convenient for you.
Note that you will need to drop off your Bag-IT within 7 days after receiving the confirmation of your Pick! locker slot via SMS or email.
